Art Gallery & Sale Kindergarten - 5th Grade

Last Saturday we had the annual Art Gallery & Sale at my school.  Parents can come and purchase their child's  art work matted for $10 or framed for $20.  I have a group of volunteer teachers that frame the artwork at the event for the parents.  Over the years it has generated thousands of dollars that we use for Arts Integration activities like maintaining our Kennedy Center membership and host many visiting artists.  This years theme was Paul Cezanne.  The students studied his work and we created various projects based on what we learned about him.  Please see some of my favorites from the show below.  All of the works are collages meaning the process of creating these works took many weeks(many layers) and many steps to complete.  In the end, I think the art work came out beautiful.  I'm so lucky to have such talented students!!!
