Third Grade Still Life:
colored pencil, watercolor, construction paper.
We used the National Gallery of Art kids website still life maker to choose our still life objects. The kids voted on what they wanted to draw from the selection of objects. Then they drew with pencils, added color with colored pencil and painted on top of their drawings with watercolor.
I thought an open door to a landscape of their choice would be a fun addition to this still life. We drew the door open and then they created the wallpaper and landscape using colored pencil and watercolor paints.
